If you’re looking for an anchor/host who can pull off anything from breaking news to a “how not to dance” segment on the turn of a dime –you’ve met your match.  I currently anchor Utah's #1 rated 4pm newscast, taking over the coveted Oprah spot.  By 10pm I'm live; reporting for Utah's #1 rated local late news.  Recognizing that television news is a changing business I keep up with viewers on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

I started my career as the “do everything anchor and reporter” in Missoula Montana producing, writing, shooting, and editing an entire newscast.  Knowing what it takes to make a great newscast from the inside out has helped me be a better anchor and storyteller.  As a night-side reporter in Salt Lake I chased after the biggest stories of the day.  I was standing in a packed stadium as the 2002 Winter Games opened and closed, followed heartbroken families of 9-11 victims to the Pentagon on the one year anniversary of our Nation’s darkest day, and worked tirelessly to help track down the kidnapper of Elizabeth Smart for nine long months.  Each of these opportunities was afforded to me through my dedication and ability to connect with families in their most tragic and triumphant moments.

Before making the move back to my home state of Utah in 2011, I spent 5 fabulous years anchoring “Good Day” in Orlando where we marched through the morning with the latest headlines, while still managing to get the biggest names in town – live in studio.  In Orlando I created, launched and maintained a franchise called “Deal of the Day.”  I scoured the internet for the best deals and steals out there.  My content was pushed to the web where the station racked up hits – and revenue.  In fact, my “Deal of the Day” researched as the most recognized segment on FOX 35 news and continues to this day in Orlando and many other FOX owned and operated stations, because of its popularity.

I enjoy being involved in the community and have passionately spent my time since 2006 working with the March of Dimes.  I am currently serving as a Board Member of the Utah March of Dimes.  My second child was born 10 weeks early and has made my mission to serve in my community even more of a priority.  My family is my reason for living and doing what I love.  I’ve shared many of the highs and lows of parenthood in articles published in Moms Like Me Magazine.  I like to show viewers that I’m not just a “talking head,” but an average every day mom trying to balance life just like everyone else.
